Dog sledding tours range from 1.5 hours to 2 hours total and take guests on a tour through the scenic Wasatch Mountain Range. Mushers will provide guests with insight into this unique activity with options to meet sled dogs and racing pups after the tour as well. There are two separate tour options to choose from when you book through All Seasons Adventures. The hour-long ride is a consecutive experience while guests can opt for a tour that’s broken into two 25-minute runs as well.
Sled for a Greater Purpose in Park City
Experienced mushers Racer and Maren Gibson have worked with All Seasons Adventures for more than 10 years and also run a dog rescue of their own known as Arctic Rescue. Many of the sled dogs leading these tours come from the rescue and have been saved from local shelters. Alaskan huskies, Siberian huskies and Alaskan malamutes alike lead the way on these sledding experiences as they simultaneously find a path to a forever home. More than 100 dogs a year are saved through Arctic Rescue which means those who book dog sledding experiences through All Seasons Adventures can have a great time while feeling even better about the cause they support.
Tour Location and Logistics
Dog sledding tours through All Seasons Adventures depart from a location that’s situated just about 45 minutes outside of Park City within the greater National Forest. It’s recommended that tour participants leave about an hour before their scheduled tour to ensure they can reach the departure point with plenty of time to spare. A four-wheel drive vehicle is recommended to tackle those snowy winter roads in the forest. Upon arrival, guests will meet with their musher and the dogs that will lead their sled through the exciting terrain! Be sure to come dressed for the winter weather and bring your camera as you’ll get the chance to take plenty of photos with the dogs when the tour ends.
