Planning Your Park City Summer Visit
If you are planning a visit to your Park City property this summer, our town may seem a little different from what you have grown accustomed to. In light of the coronavirus pandemic, events have been canceled to keep our community and our visitors healthy. While you won’t experience outdoor concerts at Deer Valley, the July 4th parade and fireworks, and the Park Silly Sunday Market, outdoor recreation is never canceled. We will gladly arrange your golf tee times, fly-fishing excursions, and mountain bike rentals. Both Park City Mountain and Deer Valley Resort are open for summer operations. All of Main Street is closed to vehicular traffic on Sundays and on Saturday, July 4th to allow for easy social distancing while enjoying plenty of outdoor dining and shopping. Our incredible array of local businesses would love your support during these challenging times.
The cancellation of events may have you spending even more time at your home this summer. SLV is here to help you get maximum enjoyment from it. You may also want to take the opportunity to explore a bit more beyond Park City during your summer visit. Utah is home to five spectacular national parks, with the closest one, Capitol Reef, only 3 ½ hours from Park City. And then there is the magic of Yellowstone National Park and Teton National Park in Wyoming, just 4 to 5 hours away. Prefer to stick closer to home? Day trips to the High Uinta Wilderness, Antelope Island State Park where buffalo and pronghorn roam, and Sundance Mountain Resort allow for abundant opportunities for exploration and recreation.
