Park City is the mecca for outdoorsmen and families. With tons of things to do in the summer and winter, you can enjoy white water rafting, hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and anything else you can think of!
Escape the hubbub of city life and head to Park City for your upcoming holiday. Trust us, you will love the friendly class, outdoor activities, restaurants, cafes, pubs, bars, and everything in between! During your trip, make sure to take advantage of the popular alfresco dining options in the center of the cute mountain town.
You can sit outside during your morning coffee and gaze at the nearby Park City Mountain. Or, you can head to one of the outdoor bars after a full day on the trails. Let’s check out the best summer outdoor dining in Park City!
Wasatch Brew Pub
Do you love beer? Check. Do you love being outside? Double-check! Wasatch Brew Pub is located right on Main Street in Park City and is open for lunch and dinner every day of the week — what more could you want!
Plus, with brunch Saturday and Sunday, there is never a bad time to head here. We recommend trying one of their many beers on draft, like a crisp IPA during the summer months or a heavy stout during a brisk summer night. If you like having a beer with your morning brunch, try the traditional eggs Benedict or breakfast pizza.
Enjoy Outdoor Dining in Park City with Twisted Fern
Conveniently located right on Snow Creek Drive, Twisted Fern is open for lunch and dinner every day of the week. If you are a fan of eating seasonal ingredients that make you feel good, head here for some healthy roasted vegetables, local Utah fish, or twists on modern classics.
We recommend trying one of their creative — and strong! — cocktails and pairing it with a smaller seafood plate. You will love the fresh flavors, outdoor patio area, and seasonal-based menu. Plus, kids are welcome!
Blind Dog Restaurant & Sushi
Featuring a Japanese-inspired menu, if you are tired of heavy burgers, friends, pizzas, and American fare, this will be the best respite possible. After all, you don’t want to eat a heavy meal before heading to the top of a mountain to start a trial run! Order a California roll and sit outside on their outdoor patio with covered tables, refreshing mountain breeze, and happy hour drinks.
Windy Ridge Cafe
Another spot known for its brunch on the weekends, Windy Ridge Cafe, is a long-time staple off of the busiest street in the city — Main Street. Offering outdoor dining, comfort classics, and tasty cocktails, you can’t go wrong with heading there any time of the day.
If you are a meat lover, try the infamous Reuben sandwich with a sauce out of this world! If you can’t fathom eating something that heavy before heading off on your mountain bike for the day, we recommend trying the Greek salad with marinated shrimp, vegetable quiche for breakfast, or eggplant parmesan vegetarian sandwich with olive oil bread.
Boneyard Saloon & Wine Dive
Maybe the most famous outdoor restaurant in Park City, this classic restaurant with American fare and crisp craft beer is a consistent favorite. Located in an old lumberyard, the aesthetic adds to the outdoor charm of this restaurant. Plus, it has a diverse food menu – forget the same-old chicken tenders and fries when you come here!
Another reason why we love this family-friendly atmosphere is because of the ‘two’ sides to the restaurant! Are you in the mood for a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon, but your friend is in the mood for a massive pint of craft beer? No worries!
There are two atmospheres in the Boneyard Saloon, offering a huge selection of Utah beers, bottles, and cans from all over the world — whereas the Wine Dive is a master at preparing small plates, tapas-style food, and keg wine.
On the Boneyard side, you can order between pub-fare classics, like a Reuben Kulakofsky with cured pastrami, crisp sauerkraut, and 1000 island dressing. Or, you can enjoy wood-fired pizza, beef short rib sandwich, All-American burger, or Wagyu beef sliders.
On the other hand, WineDive offers more refined plates. We recommend trying the steamed Maine mussels, ceviche tacos, ahi poke tower, Korean street tacos, roasted Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, or one of the many wood-fired artisan pizzas.
Don’t worry — you can sit with your friends on the outdoor patio, even if they order from the other side of his infamous restaurant!
Are you considering going to Park City, Utah, for your upcoming summer holiday? We don’t blame you! There are tons of activities to do here, like hiking with your kids, biking on one of the many trails, kayaking on the crystal blue waters, or enjoying one of the many outdoor restart options.
