Park City is a destination that draws travelers in droves year-round, but there’s something exceptionally special about heading this way with a focus on ski adventures. When you’re ready to start planning your skiing delight journey to Park City this year, let this three-day itinerary be the perfect place to start!

Day 1

A delightful ski journey to scenic Park City, Utah deserves to begin with some well-earned energy. You’ll find that and plenty of flavor too waiting for you in the morning on day one at Lucky Ones Coffee. Located in the Park City Library on Park Avenue, this coffee shop sits in the heart of town and offers up great views as well as a wide array of delicious options to enjoy. It’s a welcoming coffee shop where you can feel comfortable upon arrival and sip your way to a great start to a day of skiing fun.

Next, you’ll want to make your way to Park City Mountain Resort where downhill adventures abound each and every winter! Many travelers head to Park City to ski exclusively because of this sprawling resort. At Park City Mountain Resort, you’re going to have access to a refreshingly wide variety of runs that are suitable for skiers of all skill levels. There’s no need to haul your own gear if you don’t want to because the resort has plenty of rental options right on-site. If it’s your first time skiing, you can opt into a class before hitting the slopes. Time on the lifts promises to be just as enjoyable thanks to the many scenic views!

After a day of incredible runs at Park City Mountain Resort, you’ll want to warm up with a private après-ski wine tasting session at Old Town Cellars on Main Street. This wine bar pairs impeccably and customized tasting options with charcuterie boards as well topping off your fun day in savory style.

Day 2

The second day of your unforgettable ski journey to Park City begins with a fuel-up session at Harvest. Located at 820 Park Avenue, this Australian-style eatery is a great place to enjoy fresh and healthy menu with locally sourced ingredients. They’re open from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm daily and guests can pick and choose between a light breakfast or a hearty brunch depending on preference. While the avocado toast is always delicious, it’s hard to go wrong with an acai bowl.

After breakfast or brunch, you’ll head over to Deer Valley Resort for another day of well-deserved adventures on the slopes of Park City. While this ski stop is by no means small, it can sometimes see fewer crowds than Park City Mountain Resort giving guests a more exclusive feeling of tranquility when the fresh powder falls. Here, you’ll enjoy a welcoming ski experience complete with a limited number of skiers allowed at one time on the mountain and top-notch customer service too.  The lifts offer up spectacular views and there are also options here to take another ski lesson if you’re not quite ready to hit the slopes on your own.

After your downhill fun comes to an end, be sure to swing by the Deer Valley Café just downhill from the resort. This market-style stop is the perfect place to pick up a coffee and a sweet treat to top off your day in a delicious way.

Day 3

On the final day of your ski journey, be sure to set aside some time for family-focused fun at Woodward Park City. This action sports hub outside of town is a perfect place to enjoy time together, even if you’re traveling with a crew of many ages and interests. At Woodward Park City, you can make the most of year-round action sports training experiences and in the wintertime, they specialize in everything from skiing and snowboarding to winter biking too. Beginners can utilize the on-site magic carpet which is fantastic for learning how to ski at a slower pace. Here, you can also pair your ski adventures with tubing fun on the many lanes available.

If you have time to spare after time at Woodward Park City, you can always add a stop at the Round Valley trail system in Quinn’s Junction to your itinerary. Here, you’ll have access to 15 trails maintained by the Mountain Trails Foundation. They’re ideal for snowshoeing, ski tracks, and even fat-tire biking.

The last night of your journey takes you to a fabulous meal enjoyed at Riverhorse on Main. Located at 540 Main Street, this upscale eatery is open from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and is loved for its eclectic selection of American fare paired with world-class wines. They also have live music most evenings, making your dinner as entertaining as it is delicious.
