Valentine’s Day is almost here, and you may be looking for a fun and romantic spot for a getaway with your loved one. Read on below to see the top reasons to spend Valentine’s Day in Park City!
Take Your S.O. to a Romantic Dinner
There are numerous restaurants right in the heart of Park City or in the surrounding beautiful mountain town that offer a romantic atmosphere for you to enjoy with your husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, or significant other. We know it can be hard to narrow down the extensive list to find the perfect one for the ideal date night, so we have done the hard work for you.
We recommend heading to tupelo Park City, a charming and modern upscale restaurant and modern bar that offers global cuisine mixed with the traditional North American plates and cuisine. Tupelo serves happy hour food, has a private dining room, and offers tons of vegetarian and vegan options to help accommodate every single person.
As soon as you head here, you will notice the bright ambiance, cool modern decorations, and charming ambiance that is the ideal spot for a romantic evening. Start the night off with one of the mouthwatering appetizers, like the buttermilk biscuits with honey butter, butternut squash and burrata with soft herbs, or the crispy brussels sprouts with feta, aged balsamic, sweet potato chips, and smoked pecans.
Then, continue your extravagant meal with a main entree. We love the “beef and barley” options for meat eaters who want a grilled sirloin, barley risotto, greens, and seasonal vegetables. If you are a vegetarian, don’t fret – the charred cauliflower with black lentil hummus, sorrel pesto, and sauteed dandelion greens is one of the best dishes on the entire menu.
Pair your dish with a bottle of white or red wine to split with your partner. Or you can order a fancy cocktail or an ice-cold beer that pairs well with certain types of meat dishes or seafood. We love the atmosphere here for a lovely date night or an afternoon out on the town.
Indulge in a Day at the Spa
Head to the Aura Spa Collaborative on Main Street to enjoy a massage with your partner, get a facial to feel refreshed, and get a foot rub after a few days of skiing or hiking. The Aura Spa Collaborative is a long-standing business in the Utah industry that focuses on providing a harmonious and stress-free environment with massage and bodywork, facials and skin care, hand and foot grooming, and other services.
Our favorite option for a romantic evening or day with your partner is to get a long, 90-minute massage with add-ons available at your leisure, like CBD oil to help you relax, aromatherapy to help with any pre-existing conditions or anxiety, muscle balm to soothe aching muscles, and 3-5 hot stones for deep relaxation.
Plus, you can choose the massage type and modality that works for your needs. We recommend the couple’s massage and your choice of reflexology, energy work, deep tissue, sports, or therapeutic massage to really get into the knots and help relax your muscles to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to tackle the day.
After A long message with your partner, you can both get a facial to leave there with glowing skin and a healthy outlook on life. The 60-minute facial is a great option for an anniversary gift, including enhancements like an enzyme mask, an antioxidant booster for brighter skin, a hydrate and healing booster for moisturized skin, and aromatherapy.
Dog Sledding with Luna Lobos
You can have a romantic evening gliding across the snow with your partner. This is a once-in-a-lifetime authentic experience that will make this Valentine’s Day in Park City one to remember. Whether you’re a dog lover or an adventure seeker this athletic experience is for you. The dogs also love the experience. They stay active and get to run through the snow and you and your partner get to be real mushers. Book your experience today.
Do Some Arts and Crafts Together
We recommend doing some arts and crafts together as a couple to bond with each other, share ideas, and do something out of the ordinary. Head to the Paint Mixer on Main Street for a special event in the evening that offers live music from a local musician, a creative painting atmosphere, and food from Reef to keep you nourished and painting all night long.
Enjoy a Romantic Escape
As you can see, there are so many romantic activities for you to take part in during your time in Park City. Not only can you spend quality time with your loved one on a cold February day, but you can bond with your partner, get a couple’s massage, and do things you wouldn’t normally do in your typical routine. Reignite the flame with your husband or wife and head to Park City to enjoy this fun-filled and exciting holiday inside our vacation rentals.

Head Out on the Trail
A free and fun thing to do all year round is to go hiking in Park City, Utah. Although you have to pay for ski passes, snowboard lessons, rentals, and lift passes in the winter months to access the mountains, the summer is the best time to soak in the views, get in a great workout, and push yourself by taking full advantage of the free trials, hiking paths, and lakes surrounding Park City.
If you are in the mood for a short and easy/medium trail to get started on your vacation, then we recommend going on the Bloods Lake Trail. This easy 2.7-mile trail takes approximately 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 minutes, depending on your speed and pacing. We love this trail since it is popular all year long due to the pristine weather in the springtime, bright sunny days in the summer, changing leaves in the fall, and crisp breeze in the later months. Bring your kids because they will love the rock scrambling at the end and the adventure of climbing over and under rocks to reach the final destination!
For those who are intense trail runners, or cyclists or enjoy all-day hiking to get out of the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps, we recommend going on the Wasatch Crest Trail. This long and exciting trail provides expansive vows over nearby bright blue lakes, rolling hillsides, far-away peaks, and lush green pine forests. This hard trail takes around 8 hours and 30 minutes, so make sure you bring snacks, emergency gear, and layers during this trip. You can enjoy solitude and become one with nature as you travel on this long and picturesque trail during your stay in Park City.
Large groups, families, and solo travelers alike all love the Gambel Oak Loop if you are new to hiking or are traveling with kids. This 4-mile loop trail only takes around two hours to complete and offers a gentle incline and easy terrain for those who are interested in a fast and simple walk with their friends. You can even head here in the wintertime to bring your snowshoes and experience the winter wonderland! We love this trail for bringing kids and pups to check out the expensive views and the changing leaves on the trees.
Lastly, we love going on Jenny’s Trail if you only have time for one last hike before going back home. This iconic trail offers far-reaching views of the red rocks and provides a little bit of shade during the hot summer months. We love the changing terrain, ample parking, and mountain biking opportunities.
Head to the Montage
If you are out and about on a cold and brisk night, you might need some warming up. Grab your blanket and head to the Montage to make some smores! We love this family-friendly activity to warm up, tell stories, bond with one another, and meet other people in the area. You can bring your own drinks and snuggle under one of the blankets any time between 4-5 pm in the winter months or 8-9 during the warmer summer season.
Check out Canyons Village
Canyons Village is one of the most popular destinations in Park City, and you will soon see why! Head here to take a trip on the ‘Cab,’ as the locals call it, and enjoy your spin around the town.
Listen to Live Music
There is tons of live music happening all year round in Park City, and most of it is free! We love going to the park City Mountain to listen to musicians and bands sing their hearts out and hear the crowd sing along. You can also go to Canyons Village to listen to local musicians and sit outside while you have an al fresco dinner and watch the sunset. There is no better way to end the day!
Admire Utah Olympic Park
The Utah Olympic Park is an incredible sight to see that is a must-visit for all newbies in the area. Even if you go here just once to take pictures, it really is a sight for sore eyes. The winding road brings you to the top of the park, where you can watch the zip lining, ski jumping, tubing, and extreme sports as you sit outside and soak in the far-reaching views.
If you want, you can spend a rainy afternoon inside the Alf Engen Ski Museum to see the history of skiing in the area or learn more about the Olympic Games. Admission to this museum, and the Eccles 2002 Olympic Winter Games Museum, are free, so you never have to worry about spending a penny.

Comfortable Common Space
The living room features an L-shaped couch that is cozy and plush for taking a mid-afternoon nap on a cold day. You can also lie down on the comfortable loveseat and prop your feet up to take a load off and save your feet muscles after being in ski boots all day long. Put your favorite show on the TV, turn on the gas fireplace, and enjoy chilling out in your large condo before you go back out at night to hit the bars in Park City!
For those who are a bit hungry after a long day of being on the ski slopes, you can sit at the large wooden dining room table and chat with your guests. The wooden table features five chairs and is great for playing board games, bringing out a large deck of cards, or splitting a breakfast buffet with your family.
Even if you don’t like cooking you will love using the functional and spacious kitchen. The kitchen features a granite countertop to prepare and serve food, high-top bar stools for sitting and having a few drinks, and modern appliances that are great for preparing and cooking meals for your guests. Open the new refrigerator, bring out some fresh produce, and serve a few hand-held appetizers and cocktails to your guests sitting at the comfortable bar stools.
After a long day of being out on the slopes, skiing the tough runs with your friends, having a few apres-ski drinks, and going out for dinner at night, it might be time to hit the hay. Check out the large master suite, a big bedroom with plush bedding, flat screen TV, desk area, attached ensuite bathroom, and large closet to store all your ski gear. You can sit at the nice cut-out desk area to send a few emails in the morning before you enjoy your day off. Or you can wake up slowly with a fresh cup of coffee and put the news on your personal TV.
The other bedrooms feature large and plush beds with cozy bedding and fluffy pillows, unique artwork on the walls, low lighting, ample storage options for clothes, and tons of space for getting ready in the morning. We love the downstairs bedroom for young adults or a couple who wants their own privacy!
Last but not least, the outdoor space is great for sitting outside and watching the sunset, having a few cocktails while watching the fresh snowfall, or sitting outside and reading a book on a warm day. The front porch is great for leaving your wet ski boots, sitting on the couch, and reading a magazine, or just enjoying the sounds of nature outside of your home.
If you find yourself in Park City on a warm spring day or summer hiking trip, you can sit outside at the wooden table with foldable chairs.
