Deer Valley Resort Summer Activities

Music in the Mountains

Enjoy music in the mountains at the Summer Concert Series at Deer Valley – July 1-August 6, 2022. Held at the Snow Park Outdoor Amphitheater, this year’s lineup includes performances from Stewart Copeland of the Police, Boys II Men, Guster, the Hot Sardines, and a tribute to Aretha Franklin. 2022 also marks the 18th season of the Deer Valley Music Festival. You can buy tickets online and see all the amazing artists playing at Deer Valley this summer.

On-Mountain Dining

Grab a bite to eat at one of Deer Valley Resort’s restaurants, whether you’re looking for a sit-down experience or a casual spot to grab something to go. Deer Valley restaurants serve up fresh and flavorful meals using locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Get grab-and-go food from Deer Valley Grocery and Café, Royal Street Express, Deer Valley Etc., or Snowshoe Tommy’s. If you’re in the mood for a dine-in experience, check out The Brass Tag, Goldener Hirsch Restaurant, or the Royal Street Café.

Mountain Biking

There are nearly 70 miles of bike trails and 3,000 feet of vertical gains to explore throughout six mountains at Deer Valley Resort. Access the bike trails from Silver Lake Express, Sterling Express, and Homestake Express chair lifts. If you haven’t had enough at Deer Valley Resort, the trails here connect to 400 miles of single track throughout Park City.

Twilight Tuesdays are back this summer for even extra time on the mountain. Between June 22 and August 17, the Silver Lake Express, Homestake Express, and Sterling Express chairlifts are open from 4 to 8 p.m. for lift-served mountain biking. Watch as the sun goes down over Deer Valley. Lift tickets are $27 per adult and free for kids younger than 4.

Hiking

Go on a solo hike, get the help of a private guide, or go on a group hike to learn about the mining history of Park City. You can explore miles of hiking-only trails from the mid-mountain Silver Lake Village area or by taking the Sterling Express chairlift. If you want to earn your post-hike beer without the knee pain, you can hike up and get a complimentary chairlift ride down.

If you want to fully rejuvenate head to toe, go on the guided hike through Deer Valley Resort’s trails and enjoy a relaxing yoga class on the Hike and Yoga series. You can enjoy a two- to three-hour excursion on the mountain and unwind afterward at one of the on-mountain lodges. The guided hike is followed by a gentle yoga class, and it takes place on July 17, August 21, and September 18 at 10 am. This program costs $95 per person.

Summer Adventure Camp

Bring the kids to the Summer Adventure Camp where they can experience on-mountain activities suited specifically for their age. The 2021 Summer Adventure Camp season runs from June 7 – August 18, Monday through Friday from 8 am – 5 pm. Kids will enjoy age-appropriate, adult-supervised activities like sports, nature studies, art projects, community activities, scavenger hunts, and more. You can sign kids up for a day, three-day, or full week of activities.
